• Students practiced using indirect object pronouns on a handout while Maestra Range stamped homework.
• We talked about the documentary “The Braceros” that we watched yesterday and reviewed the discussion questions about why immigrants come to the United States and what life is like for them. We also talked about what we know of our own immigrant ancestors.
• Maestra Range played a rhythmic song called “El cumpleaños de Timoteo” to listen to the use of direct and indirect objects and direct commands.
• We discussed the second part of the short story called “Cajas de Cartòn.”
• Then students got into pairs to read the short story, “Una Familia Inolvidable” and to answer the questions in Exercise A.

Tarea:

1. Finish reading “Una Familia Inolvidable” and answer the questions in the handout in Exercise A.
2. Complete both sides of the white Tarea de Pràctica worksheet.
3. Extra Credit: Complete the blue crossword puzzle to review vocabulary.
4. Study for the 3B Exam tomorrow which includes:
• Vocabulary on p.89
• Direct and Indirect Object Pronouns
• Verbs like GUSTAR (pp.100-101)
