Spanish II 06-03-08

• Students wrote imperfect tense conjugations in a Peruvian ghost story while Maestra Range stamped the homework.
• Students took the short quiz on time indicators for the imperfect tense. When they finished, they started writing the English definitions for the words and expressions on the blue 4B vocabulary sheet.
• Maestra Range handed out the new golden packet on comparing the Preterite and Imperfect tenses and students took turns reading the explanations for when to use each verb tense. We also did practice exercises in class.
• We read the comprehension questions on page 189, previewed the vocabulary in the dialogue and then watched the Video Historia about Ana and what she was like in her childhood.
• Students used their pink “interview about your childhood” sheets and, in pairs, asked and answered the questions about when they were five or six years old.
• Maestra Range passed out the yellow Workbook Packet 4B which contains various homework assignments for the next week.
• We reviewed the 3B Exam today in 2^nd period and yesterday in 4^th period.

Tarea:

1. Complete the blue 4B vocabulary worksheet.
2. Do pp.77 & 78 in the green Workbook 4A packet.
3. Do p.82 in the yellow Workbook 4B packet.

• REMINDER NOTE: Wednesday’s quiz will be on the 4A vocabulary and the preterite conjugations, and Friday’s quiz will be on the 4B vocabulary.
