Spanish II 06-02-08

  • Students did a warm-up with the lesson vocabulary while Maestra Range stamped their homework.
  • We reviewed the vocabulary worksheet.
  • Maestra Range told a story about her childhood using the imperfect tense. Then, students told each other about their own childhoods, and some people shared with the class.
  • We reviewed the verb grid to practice saying the –aba and –ìa endings for the imperfect tense.
  • Students then received the pink “interview about your childhood” sheets and began answering the questions about when they were five or six years old.
  • Maestra Range passed out the green Workbook Packet 4A which contains various homework assignments for the next week.
  • Students also received a green study guide for the final exam, and we reviewed the study tips and material that will be covered. Maestra Thurber answered questions about the exam.
  • Maestra Range reminded everyone about the quiz tomorrow on the time indicators for the imperfect, and she also announced two upcoming quizzes. Wednesday’s quiz will be on the 4A vocabulary and the preterite conjugations, and Friday’s quiz will be on the 4B vocabulary.
  • 2nd period was very short because the Senior Assembly lasted longer than planned. In 4th period we had time to learn some rhymes, songs and tongue twisters that are popular among Spanish speaking children.

Tarea:

    1. Complete the pink “Entrevista acerca de la niñez” questions about your own childhood.
