• Maestra Range stamped homework while students read an article about recent developments in the trials of several Guatemalans accused of atrocities in the civil war during the 1980s.
• Mariana gave the final research project presentation. She told us about the Tango, a dance form originating from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
• We discussed the final part of the movie, El Norte, and some of the symbolism used in the film.
• Maestra Range distributed a study guide for the final exam on Thursday of next week.
• Then students got into pairs to read the first half of a short story called “Cajas de Cartòn.”

Tarea:

1. Finish reading “Cajas de Cartòn” and answer the questions in the handout entitled “¿Què pasò? and “Interpretaciòn.”
