Spanish IV 06-03-08

  • Students practiced using direct and indirect objects by translating sentences while Maestra Range stamped homework.
  • We discussed the first part of the short story called “Cajas de Cartòn” about a little boy who moves with his family to different places to work on farms. Then students got into pairs to read the second half of the story.
  • Maestra Range played Marc Anthony’s song, “Dìmelo” to illustrate the use of direct and indirect objects and direct commands.
  • We watched Oregon Public Broadcasting’s Oregon Experience documentary on The Braceros, and students began answering some questions about the video.

Tarea:

  1. Finish reading part 2 of “Cajas de Cartòn” and answer the questions in the handout entitled “¿Què pasò? and “Interpretaciòn.”
  2. Complete the pink sheet of questions about The Braceros.
