Spanish II 06-04-08

• While Maestra Range stamped the homework, students studied for the quiz.
• Students took the two-part Quiz on 4A vocabulary and the conjugations of the imperfect tense. When they finished, they filled out a worksheet to review the present tense.
• We reviewed the homework in the green Workbook Packet 4A (pp. 75, 76, 77 & 78) and the first page of the yellow Workbook Packet 4B.
• We read about indirect objects and watched the GramActiva. We practiced using indirect objects by talking in pairs about what people bought for whom.
• The class then read about good manners (Buenos Modales, p. 212) and indicated which customs Maestra Range was talking about by acting out gestures.
• Students read in pairs about holidays and celebrations and listened to Maestra Range and wrote down what type of celebration she was describing.
• We then read about pets (las mascotas, p.191) in Latin America. In 2nd period, students were assigned to write a question about the paragraph they read.

Tarea:

1. Do p.79 in the green Workbook 4A packet.
2. Do pp. 85 & 85 in the yellow Workbook 4B packet.
3. 2^nd period only: write one question about the reading we did on p.191 about pets.

• REMINDER NOTE: Friday’s quiz will be on the 4B vocabulary.
