Spanish IV 06-09-08

• Students organized into their 5 teams to prepare for the debate for a final few minutes. Each person in the group chose one of the 6 issues that will be debated regarding who the U.S. should allow to immigrate and prepared to be in the “hot seat” for that topic.
• We set up the classroom in 5 rows and each team sat in a row with the “hot seat” in front. With Maestra Range as moderator and Maestra Thurber-Brown as oral evaluator, students stated their positions, challenged and questioned the positions of others and re-defended their groups’ positions.
• We did not have time to discuss the last two immigration questions, so we will finish the debate tomorrow.

Tarea:

1. Study for the final exam using the sites you can link to from this blog, your textbook, and the handouts you have received in class.
