Spanish IV 06-11-08

  • Maestra Range showed a power point presentation on a study called “Immigration in America” done on the attitudes of Americans towards immigration. The survey was done by NPR, The Kaiser Family Foundation and Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government. It is available on the web at: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=4062605
  • Students played a “Snakes & Ladders” board game to review vocabulary and grammar from lessons 1-4.
  • We then played a translation game to practice verbs like gustar. In teams of two, students took envelopes of cut-up sentences and put them together. Maestra Range verified if they were correct, and they took the next envelope. The first two teams who finished all 15 sentences won a prize.
