Spanish II 06-10-08

  1. Students did a review worksheet on Lessons 1-4 while Maestra Range checked homework. We went over the worksheet and discussed the answers, reviewing different grammatical structures we have covered this quarter.
  2. We reviewed the homework assignments including the crossword puzzle on p.89 in the yellow WB 4B packet and Exercise C in the Preterite & Imperfect Compared packet.
  3. We looked again at the Entrevista Sobre la Ninez questions and brainstormed follow-up questions using the interrogatives (who, what, where, when, why) we are familiar with. Students worked in pairs asking each other the original interview questions and additional follow-up questions.
  4. Maestra Range returned the pile of papers that have been waiting to be picked up.
  5. In 4th period, we played some flashcard games on the Quia Site Maestra Thurber made on the web.
  6. Maestra Range then explained a new game, passed out instructions and materials. The whole class helped set up the classroom with 5 large city maps on rugs on the floor. Students formed teams and took turns “driving” cars around the maps according to the instructions given in the form of commands by the other team.
  7. We took class photos so that Maestra Range will have momentos of her time with the Spanish II class at Tigard HS this year.

Tarea:

  1. Study for the final exam using the sites you can link to from this blog, your textbook, and the handouts you have received in class.

2nd period only:

  1. Complete the last page in the pink “A Patinar” packet.
  2. Do p.90 in the yellow WB-4B packet.
