Español II el 13 de septiembre de 2011

1. Precaliento (Warm-up): Practicing descriptive adjectives - meanings and forms.

2. Listening comprehension: NEW packet = WAVA (Writing, Audio & Visual Activities).
We listened to two activities practicing descriptive and nationality adjectives.

3. Repaso de tarea (homework review): Corrected activity P-3 using SER (to be) and nationality adjectives.

4. Oral de parejas, De dónde es María/José?: asking/answering questions about where people are from - answering using the appropriate nationality adjective.

5. "Natural Stress Rule / El golpe natural"- Know WHEN and accent mark is needed! Students took notes as I explained this simple way to know when to include an accent mark.

6. Distributed the STUDY SKILLS HANDOUT - remember a STRONG STUDENT will do some activity in EACH of numbers 1, 2, 3 & 4 EVERYDAY.

Tarea:
1. WAVA packet - exercise 4, page 3. Using the adjectives at the top of the page and CLUES from the drawings, write two things about each of the drawings.
2. Review the Study Skills handout, show it to your parents and have them sign it. Show it to me tomorrow.
