Viernes - la canción. Started off class teaching this song to students new to me since it has become a tradition in my classes. No, this is NOT the YouTube song from last spring!
Los números! Reviewed numbers 0-100 with timed drills, dictation and partner orals.
El alfabeto español - we reviewed this, and then used BOTH numbers and alphabet to exchanges our names and phone numbers with others to organized our "Compañeros de estudios".
Práctica de vocabulario nuevo - partner study/drill practice.
Concurso de forros - Book cover contest - we had some very creative and attractive winners.
Homework review: We shared our historical and literary examples of the personality traits given in Act. 2, and then went over the answers for the grammar exercises.
Tarea:
1. Write a paragraph (of at least 5 sentences) comparing a typical summer vacation day with a typical school day. Use at least 10 of the verbs from pp. 118 & 119.
2. Handout: Complete the "Tarea de vocabulario #1 from page 112
