Bienvenidos a la clase de español IV!
Today we did the normal first day of class activities:

WE got lots of HANDOUTS!
1. Datos Personales - Tell me about you and then I answered your questions to me.
2. Welcome to Spanish Class - tell me about your previous experience with Spanish.
3. "Bienvenidos a la clase" - course procedures, grading expectations and classroom rules. This ALSO has the "Workbook Letter" attached.

REPASO:
1. Nombres en español: We selected Latino classroom names and made name cards.
2. Repaso de español III: Packet of vocabulary and grammar unit reviews. We played a partner speed-drill game

A la biblioteca: checked-out our textbook - please bring this to class tomorrow, and everyday there after - unless I tell you otherwise.

Procedimientos y sistemas de la clase: I talked about some of the course expectations and demonstrated the systems set-up in the class dealing with make-ups, turning-in work, etc. We'll do more of this tomorrow after your partner-quizzes tomorrow.

TAREA:
1. Have your parents READ "Bienvenidos a la clase" and then COMPLETE & SIGN the WORKBOOK LETTER; remember you WILL NOT have to purchase a workbook.
2. Cover your textbook by Friday. Use a cover that protects the edges, binding and corners.
3. Write 5 questions and their answers en español about the classroom procedures, rules and/or grading system to ask others tomorrow during class.
