Español IV 05-07-08

· Students used small white-boards to take turns writing sentences in Spanish dictated in English by their partners. Students used the sentences they had written as homework. Maestra Range checked the homework and went over the answers to Activity 3-3 on p.81.

· Maestra Range reviewed the subjunctive tense and when it should be used with impersonal expressions.

· To prepare for watching the movie, we discussed some of the questions from the handout. Maestra Thurber-Brown showed the lyrics to the Argentina’s National Anthem, as the movie starts out with it. Then we watched the first part of “The Official Story.”

Tarea:

· Do Activity 3-2, p.81.

· Do Activity 3-10, p.84.

· Begin to fill out the white “Map” handout that helps keep track of the characters and themes of the movie. Complete the top portion.
