· We reviewed the irregular preterite verbs and looked for patterns of conjugation. Maestra Range explained how the irregular verbs are grouped according to how they are conjugated.

· We learned a song to help memorize the “yo” forms of the irregular preterite verbs.

· We practiced conjugating verbs into the preterite tense in a game using a ball (2^nd period) and dice (4^th period).

· Students wrote the answers to questions projected on the document camera using the preterite tense.

· We learned a song called “La Novia Presumida” by trying to fill in the missing lyrics.

· We practiced our TPR (Total Physical Response) rhyme about prepositions and Maestra Range introduced more prepositions (in, on, under, behind, etc.) on a handout with a picture of ghosts that are hidden in various rooms of a house.

· We reviewed the homework including the blue worksheet 3A-A & B practicing chores and telling time, and the WAVA workbook, p.52 practicing the preterite and vocabulary about errands and chores.

Tarea:

1. Do the yellow worksheet 3A-6 & 7 to practice irregular preterite verbs.

2. Write 10 sentences describing where the ghosts are hiding on the blue worksheet.

3. Complete the clock worksheet by writing out the time for each clock.
