• Students took the Verb Tense Quiz
• Maestra Thurber-Brown checked in the homework assignment in the Future/Conditional packet, Exercises F & G, either odd- or even-numbered questions.
• Students then played a flashcard game to practice new vocabulary related to our study of the environment and ecology by dividing into nine teams and quizzing eachother on the words.
• Students then got together with their 12:00 noon partner to read an article on a popular band from Mexico called Maná. They also read the lyrics to one of Maná’s songs called “¿Dónde Jugarán los Niños?” (“Where Will the Children Play?”) that we will be watching them sing tomorrow on a video.
• We ended class by reviewing the questions about the Maná article in which they practiced the future tense.

Tarea:

· Future/Conditional packet, Exercise H, half the problems (choose the first half or the second half, or odd- or even-numbered questions).

· Study for the Lesson 2A Exam tomorrow. You will need to be able to:
1. recognize vocabulary in context
2. conjugate regular and irregular verbs in the future tense
3. know how and when to use the verbs Ser/Estar/Haber
