- Maestra Thurber-Brown collected the Project Proposals and checked in the homework in the Future/Conditional packet, pp. 41-42 (#8-15, #1-15) and Maestra Range lead the warm-up Activity 2-15 on p.56 using the future tense. Students then shared their answers with the class.
- We reviewed the homework from the Future/Conditional packet, pp.41-31, #8-15 and #1-15. We then did Exercise E together as a class on the document projector. Then we discussed the homework of Exercises F & G. Students may choose to do either the odd- or even-numbered questions.
- We played a Find the Animals game to review Spanish words for animals of the desert, mountains, jungle and on safari. Students took turns finding and counting different animals, birds, reptiles and insects.
- Students practiced for Thursday’s quiz by completing a Practice sheet on conjugating verbs in various tenses. They also received the Verb Tense Practice sheet to help guide their study.
- Maestra Thurber-Brown returned the Names Quiz to students.
Tarea:
1. Study for the Verb Tense Quiz TOMORROW by reviewing p.46 and studying the following verbs: destruir, reciclar, rescatar, proteger, secar.
2. Future/Conditional packet, Exercises F & G, choose either odd- or even-numbered questions.
NOTE: The Lesson 2A Exam is FRIDAY, April 18. You will need to be able to recognize vocabulary in context, conjugate regular and irregular verbs in the future tense, and know how and when to use the verbs Ser/Estar/Haber.
