1. ¡Feliz día del amor y de la amistad! - I shared Spanish conversation hearts with the students and we had fun figuring out what the "Text-spanish" words meant.
2. Introduced the second part of the Para empezar lesson:
A. Pages 8 & 9: Listening/Reading comprehension = using the vocabulary in context. See your second vocabulary sheet in your vocab. packet
B. Activities 13 = Wrote out comprehension questions and then answered aloud.
C. Activity 14, pg. 9 = Speaking practice. I made a special survey form and students circulated asking and answering each others' questions about how often they did various activities - selecting from those listed in the activity.
D. Los verbos como gustar - See page 11. I introduced/reviewed how these verbs work and then we practiced using a Quia exercise - students had their own handout, too.
3. We went over the answers to last night's homework handout - putting it all together: verbs and vocabulary.
Tarea:
1. Complete the Encuesta (survey) form started today (Activity 14, pg. 9) - filling YOUR answers to the questions (middle section/yo) AND the information you found out about others (bottom section).
2. Workbook pp. 3 & 4 = Reflexive verbs & verbs like gustar.
3. Finish the last page of your verb grid packet = REMEMBER...Verb test on Thursday!
