El español II - el 08 de marzo de 2013



I was out of class today so here are the plans I left with your sub:

1. Warm-up: Blue handout “Conteste las preguntas siguientes/Ask the following questions”.  JUST THIS SIDE of this 2-sided handout.  Students first translate both sets of sentences/questions.  Next, students ask/answer the questions on the lower half of the paper.  Next, went over these all together. 

2. Corrections to the homework – Ejercicio E – Comparison of Adjectives Packet.
3. Juego de repaso – (20 minutes) Working with their seat partner – students do the “Oraciones desordenadas”  - Juego de repaso.

4. Introduce the project – due on Monday.  Distribute the Blue Informational Handout and go over the criteria – Please notice BOTH sides of the handout.  Then show the EXAMPLE of the project - six pictures with sentences.
Ask students to take out paper and begin writing their rough draft.
Then handout the white template to use for your FINAL draft.  

5. If time allows, show the DVD: Rick Steves Spain -  Northern Spain and the Camino de Santiago.

Homework = Project ready to present on MONDAY
