I was absent today but here are the plans I left with your sub, Sra. Castro
1. Legend groups: More time to finish up the mixed teams activity from yesterday: 10 -15.
Stamped homework while students work. Homework = Handout,
Repaso: two-sided & “To become” – exercises on the back.
2. Debrief the legends using my copies – go over the
highlighted words to see if everyone understands them and/or has questions
about the content. Gracias a Keenan por su ayuda.
3.Repaso de las tareas –
4. A escuchar – text page 23 & Blue CD disk – track
2. Students copy the script from
their books, and then fill in the words while listening. Then underline the preterite
& imperfect forms of the verbs and explain WHY each is used in
this context. Debrief all together.
5. Video: ¿Cómo se explican los misterios? – Handouts- Note there are 2 pages.
Students do the “Antes de ver el video” – volunteers
to share their mysteries of the world, then play DVD.
Students share their answers with each other (in pairs) then debrief with the
whole class together.
6. If there is enough time: Have
them read the Sapo y Sepo in pairs. I want them to notice the use of the
preterite and the imperfect.
