1. Warm-up: Repaso de vocabulario - White handout with vocabulary fill-ins and translation sentences.

2. Homework corrections: Verb grid - peer review using an answer key; Self-corrected white handout: Tarea #1 de verbos using my answer key projected with the doc camera.
We added 3 verbs to our verb grids - all of them can be found in your white Stem-Changing Verb packet:
(a) Volver (o-ue) - to return: as in a person returns to a place
(b) Encontrar (o-ue)- to find, encounter, meet up with.
(c) Divertirse (e-ie) - to have fun - this is a reflexive verb - see your notes on how to conjugate these in your white Stem-Changing Verb packet

3. Listen/Speak: Partner conversations - putting these stem-changers into context.

4. Barco de Guerra - Battleship-style verb conjugation game

5. Reviewed the results from the map/capitals test and returned the poem projects.
