Spanish III 03-06-07

Spanish III 03-13-07

“En ese Martes no te cases ni embarques”

  • Partner sharing and editing of our 10 sentences about things others were doing when someone else suddenly interrupted them.
  • We took turns writing example of these sentences on the Smart Board, and double-checked them for meaning and accuracy of use of the imperfect and the preterite.
  • Big over view of the National Park in a Spanish-speaking country project:

1. Helpful websites, and a BIG list of countries and possible project locations.

2. English list of required components in the written part of the project.

3. Overview of all of the elements required: Written, Power Point, Specialized vocabulary list for the class, Comprehension questions for the class, Bibliography with 5 citations – 3 of which are in Spanish.

4. Deadlines:

a. Select site for tomorrow (3-14-07)

b. Rough Draft – typed and double-spaced recommended – ready for editing circle in class on Monday (3-19-07)

c. Final Copy to turn in (different one to present from), Power Point ready to present for Tuesday (3-20)

  • Showed previous Power Points from this project and we analyzed their relative strengths.
  • Homework:
    1. Study for Chapter 1-B test tomorrow: Listening and Reading Comprehension, the Preterite and the Imperfect: know how to conjugate them and when to use them.
    2. Do some investigation on the Project Websites distributed in class – Select a site for tomorrow.
