1. Listening Comprehension - "Cloze" Test - Clozeline handout & You tube of Gilberto Santa Rosa singing Ruben Blades "Me Cambiaron Las Preguntas" listening for the uses of the PRETERITO versus EL IMPERFECTO.

2. Juegos de definiciones- Handout of "scattered" vocabulary items (all items from pg. 58).
(A) I played "Estoy pensando en una palabra" - describing an item and students tried to find the word on the handout.
(B) "Dedos" - Students took turns sharing their definitions while other partner pairs tried to be the first to find the word defined on their handout.

3. Oral/Lectura: Partners read short paragraphs aloud to each other while the listener filled-in a chart of who did what, where and when.

4. Los parques nacionales - Our first three presenters gave very interesting presentations.
