Español III el 8 de marzo de 2012

Precaliento - we wrote out sentences incorporating verbs in both the preterit & imperfect.

Comprensión - Activities 29 & 30, pg. 39 - Listening and reading practice along with good STRATEGIES - see the "Estrategia" box.

The preterite & the Imperfect Compared:
1. NEW PACKET: we worked through the study points and began some of the practices.
2. HANDOUT - El semáforo del pasado - using the concept of Red Light = Preterite for stopped/limited action; Yellow Light = Meaning Changers in the Preterite; Green Light = On-GOING Actions in the past for the Imperfect.

El PROYECTO -
1. Partner editors checked for (A) Complete information (B) Correct Choice of Preterite or Imperfect verb and (C) Correct Conjugation of Verb ALSO: Word Order and Adjective Agreement.
2. Shared the presentation calendar - students to select 3 dates they would prefer to present -

Tarea:
1. Proposal for Presentation Date for Project: Tell me your top 3 date choices and WHY. Also tell me WHAT dates you have a CONFLICT - Doc Appt, IB exams, etc.
2. Paragraph #2 of project - complete but rough draft.
