1. Chiste (Gracias a Bethany Lassetter - ya hace 4 años):
Tres amigos tiemen nombres muy raros: uno se llama “Loco”, el otro se llama “Nada” y el ultimo se llama “Nadie”. Un día Nadie se cayó al agua. Nada le dijo a Loco que llame a la policía. Loco llama a la comisaría y le dijo,“ ¡Hola! Soy loco y estoy llamando por Nada y Nadie se cayó al agua!”

2. Lectura: "Los juglares" - page 19: Reading about minstrals and their traditions.

3. Homework corrections: irregular preterites.

4. PRETERITE TEST (50 points) - a short 10 point vocabulary section.

5. El imperfecto: Handout AND pages 20-21 in textbook. Activity 17 on page 22.

6. Started reading the folk tale, Juan Bobo - first part and questions 1-15 to be completed in class.


TRIVIA: ¿Qué quiere decir “Juglares”?

TAREA:
1. Finish reading the last part of Juan Bobo and then answer the corresponding questions (#s 16-23)
2. Using the imperfecto, complete Activity 19, page 22 by writing FIVE COMPLEX SENTENCES (similar to the one in the example) describing yourself as a child.
