• Read article in textbook about the ecological movement in Costa Rica – page 54. Then practiced the comparison and follow-up discussions.
• Whole class discussion based the comparison/contrasts of Costa Rica’s and our ecological movement.
• Corrected the homework reviewing the uses of Ser-Estar-Haber and El futuro.
• We talked more about the criteria for the research project – HANDOUT: TIPS FOR SUCCESS WITH YOUR PROJECT.
I clarified:
1. that you are to SEND your Power Point to me as an attachment via MY EMAIL address cthurber@ttsd.k12.or.us 2 days prior to your presentation.
2. if you would like me to print off your vocab/questions handout I need your original 2 days prior to your presentation.
3. that ONLY POWER POINT (2003 – or earlier- version will work) NOT a later version nor a different presentation application.
4. Mac versions have not run well, but you may use the library’s computers or mine (by arrangement).
5. how to save Power Point in 97-2003 version – necessary for my school computer to be able to read your presentation.
6. how to print out your Power Point Slide in the 3-Slides per page format – color in not necessary.
• Tarea:
1. Parent letter signed re: Movies in next unit.
2. Small poster re: ecological issue – to be used in an oral tomorrow to persuade us to your point of view. See Act. 2-6, p. 48 – Text.
