Spanish II 05-22-08

  • Students had their last opportunity to practice the questions for tomorrow’s scored test. They wrote answers to questions #19-21 and practiced them with a partner while Maestra Range checked in homework.
  • We read p.171 aloud to learn about the Present Progressive tense and watched the GramActiva.
  • We reviewed the homework in the blue packet using direct objects. In 2n period, Maestra Range showed students more information about how to use Direct Object Pronouns.
  • We read reviewed the homework by sharing directions students wrote on how to get to the “panaderìa” using the map on p.158 in the textbook.
  • In 4th period, we looked at the map of Old San Juan, Puerto Rico on p.164. Students listened and followed on the map to discover where the directions Maestra Range gave ended up.
  • Students then got into pairs to play a game about giving and asking directions. Using a map of the school, they helped each other follow the directions written on cards and tried to determine where they ended up. Maestra Range gave the answers to check for accuracy afterwards.
  • In 4th period, we ended the day with some flashcard review of vocabulary.
