El español IV - el 08 de abril

Thanks for working so well with la Sra. Duca, as I was out of class today.
Here's what you did:

1. Started our NEW LESSON – 2, parte 1a (I refer to this as “2A)
(A) Students read the GOALS on page 44: Comunicación, Estructuras, Cultura.
(B)Got two vocabulary sheets –for page 46. The first one the students filled-in with the Spanish. 
The 2nd vocabulary sheet is my example of how you can expand the vocabulary by using different categories and adding in more words.
(C) Working with a partner, students read pg. 45 aloud, helping each other understand it.
(D) Students completed Act. 2-1, pg. 47, writing correct answers for the false ones.
(E) Act. 2-2:

Pairs come up with 3 sentences per item – as in the model: Es _____; Se use para ________________; Un comentario.  Then each pair gets together with another pair seated close by.  After sharing all of their sentences, you call on each of the groups to share one of their sentences.

2. Introduce Ser-Estar-Haber Review
·       The USES – Text pages 49-52
·      
Tarea:
1. Write 10 definitions in Spanish for 10 items in their new vocabulary.
2. Workbook, pg. 41: Act. 2-1 & 2-2
