El español IV - el 03 de abril de 2013

1. Actividad Oral - paquete de viajes y turismo.  We practiced the IB oral format using the photo on page 229 (I showed the color one from the book)  Each partner took a turn being the interviewer and the interviewee.
Here's the format:

Paso primero: Una BREVE DESCRIPCIÓN de la foto misma: (30 segundos)

Paso segundo: INTERPRETACIÓN de la foto: (3-4 minutos)

Contecta la foto con los temas de B.I. –

 Busca varios aspectos de tantos temas posibles, contectándolos en una manera lógica.

                    Temas troncales: Relaciones sociales; Cuestiones globales; Comunicación y medios

                    Temas opcionales (THS): Ocio; Ciencias y la tecnología

Paso tercero: EVALÚA los conceptos mencionados en el paso segundo: llega a una opinión que apoyas con muchos ejemplos.  Defiende su opinión. (3-4 minutos)

Paso cuarto: Interacción – contestar preguntas abiertas sobre los temas presentados, también apoyando tus respuestas. (3-4 minutos)

2. Debrief - students asked that I demonstrate how I would approach it, so I did, but in a somewhat shorter time frame.  They asked me the follow-up questions based on what I had talked about.

3. Buenos Aires - we returned to question #21 from yesterday's homework and we "explored" these iconic places/people of Buenos Aires via YouTube videos and postcards brought by Clara who happened to have gone there last summer!

Tarea:

1. Rough draft (Bosquejo) of your "Tarea de redacción" - options a, b, c, or d on page 230 of your Viajes y turismo packet.

2. Bring a print out of a color photo from a Spanish-speaking country that illustrates what you are writing about.  Check out "Google Images en español"
