1. I answered "Datos personales" questions from the student to me, sharing about my background, interests, travels and family.

2. Some of the questions pertained to the IB program and testing so I gave an overview of some of the changes in the testing that will begin this spring.  We will include background and practice in this course but it is strongly recommended that students continue on to Spanish V if they plan on testing.

3. We started in our new book - Conexiones. Read the opening article aloud with a partner and then debriefed all together.

4. Vocabulary for the chapter includes - the highlighted words from my copy of the article (page 3) as well as pages 4, 5, 6 & 7.  Here's a link to the vocabulary for the unit, including some from the workbook we'll get next week.  NOTE: you'll need to know the details of the information from the article for the chapter test.

5. Repaso - Using the class set of packets from Spanish III, students filled-in the backside of their "Pared de palabras" handouts for Chapters 3 & 4 in Realidades 3.

Tarea:
1. Create your own vocabulary list (Spanish to English) from page 4: the Areas de concentración and los profesiones.
2. Cover your text book.
