1. Asking and Answering questions, in Spanish, about how we spent our time over Winter Break. - Practicing speaking and writing in the past tense first independently, next "Pair Share": Speaking with a partner and finally two sets of partners share with each other what each person learned about their partner.

2. Organized our IA project papers and turned them in.

3. Introduced the new unit: Capitulo 3 - Los derechos humanos
a. What are human rights?
b. Vocabulary - page 80 + handout
c. Lectura- reading with a partner - page 79: La Declaración Universal de los Derechos Humanos - AND written comprehension activity 3-1, page 81 (started in class, finish as homework if needed).

4. Period 4: Started presenting IA projects

Tarea:
1. Lotería: El gobierno - bilingual answers/vocabulary on the backside of handout.
2. New Workbook Packet - Activities 3-1 & 2, practicing vocabulary page 80
