1. Vocabulary practice - using it in context:
a. Listening Activity - 2: page 131
b. Watching/Listening: Video Historia - pp. 132-133
c. Read "Historis" aloud with partner
d. Comprehension questions, Act. 3 - pg. 133

2. Repaso - Tarea: WB 49-50 - chores and telling time; Then we practiced the preterite with WB 49.

3. La rima: We practiced the prepositions of place via this rhyme with movements.

4. Irregular Preterites: SER & IR - page 140 & Tener, Estar, Poder & Hacer - page 142
I showed the class these verbs in their preterite forms - pointed them out in the reading earlier and lead students to their meaning. Then we got out our PRETERITO packets and compared them to pages 140 & 142. We started filling-in new verb grids - making a place for all of the irregulars on the second page of the PRETERITO packet. We filled in verbs: SER/IR, Dar, Ver. We also filled-in spaced for all of the "GROUPED IRREGULARS" but we're just filling in the verbs for lesson 3A now: Tener, Estar, Poder, Hacer

Tarea:
1. Finish your Irregular Verb Grid for Ser/Ir; Tener, Estar, Poder and Hacer.
2. Workbook page 51-52 = Vocabulary 3A
3. Finish FLASH Cards 3A (#s 25-52)
4. Bring back your Regular Preterite Flash cards (snack size baggies)
