1. The 2-column handout to categorize the lists of foods into Bebidas/Comidas and then into Buena/Mala para la salud.

2. We did a 10 word dictation, using items from our vocabulary - matching the sounds with their spelling in Spanish, and then confirming their meanings.

3. Reviewed the plurals of nouns and adjectives - took APUNTES (notes) charting masculine/feminine forms of adjectives and their singular and plural forms, too. Again, we focused on new ones that are part of our new lesson. Next we corrected our WORKBOOK homework, practicing these same ideas. We're extending Activity 13, text page 157 until Monday with the hope more people will complete it so we can use it for Part II of the activity.

4. We reviewed SER and ESTAR - New Handout and Notes - and we completed the practice sentences on that page, too.

5. We watched the next segment on our South America DVD - visiting Buenos Aires today. ¡Qué ciudad más bonita!

6. I handed out detailed Progress Reports - with the averages in each of the three categories used to calculate your overall grade: Homework, In-class Performance and Tests/Quizzes. Please have your folks sign the second page and return that one to me on Monday or Tuesday.
