Spanish II 05-01-09
I was out of class today, attending a conference in southern Oregon. Here's the work I left with the substitute for you to do in class:
1. Distribute “Warm-up” translation sentences- practicing vocabulary and the preterite.
2. Stamp completed homework: Yellow packet – page 46, Exercise 2B-7.
3. Show the ANSWER KEY to the warm-up and let students correct their work.
4. Show the ANSWERS to HOMEWORK, and have students correct this, too.
5. Remind students they have the 2B Lesson Test on MONDAY (they got study guides yesterday and let them know I sent it to my blog, too). They can refer to this previous post Spanish II Study Guide for 2B Lesson Test.
6. Distribute the 2B Vocabulary Crossword – have students work on this in pairs. They MAY consult their pink vocabulary sheets and/or page 124 in their text books, but remind them to note the words they don’t know – they should study these over the weekend.
Once most are done, show the answers under the document camera.
7. Play MOVIE – Babe (Babé)= In Spanish with English subtitles. The students are to WATCH and LISTEN to the movie while READING the subtitles.
8. Distribute Homework Handouts:
A) White “tarea de traducción”
B) Pink “Práctica con el pretérito”
