Spanish IV –
I was gone today, so this is what the students were
to do with the substitute.

1. Homework correction – Workbook Packet: Review of regular present-tense verbs.

2. Practiced the vocabulary on page 6 (you say it, they repeat).

3. Act. P-5, page 6. Working with a partner, students take turns reading the items listed, and deciding which order they should be.

4. Act. P-6, page 6.

5. Review the basics of the Preterite/Imperfecto –

Distribute the White packet, “Repaso de los verbos” AND have them open their

books to pp. VC-3 (Verb chart appendix) – green-edged pages in the back of their

books. Also, for when to use which, there is a handy chart on page 28;

Meaning changers on page 32.

6. Act. P-7, page 7 – Using the past to exchange experiences -Rotating partners- a different partner for each item. If they have no experience with the item in the exercise, they should have a conversation about how, when and where they use technology.

7. Continue on with the showing of Eloise Goes to School.

8. Homework: Workbook packet 15, 16, 17. Also, distribute the small vocabulary sheet for them the complete and add on to.
