Spanish III 02-15-07
- Warm-up: page 17, Activities 2 & 3-part 1. Students wrote these out while I stamped and checked off Act. 5 & 6 + verb grid from page 19.
- We corrected Act. 5, reviewing the regular conjugations of the preterite.
- With our “peluquera” partner, we did part 2 of Activity 3 – asking and answering questions about what we did during our last vacation. We practiced asking follow-up questions: Qué hiciste, con quién(es), (A)dónde, cuándo, por qué.
- We went to conjuguemos.com and played the 5-minute conjugation game using all of the regular verbs and all of the pronouns. Everyone wrote all of the forms as we worked on these as a whole class. We reviewed the meanings of the verbs, especially: barrer – to sweep, borrar – to erase, asistir-to attend, prestar – to lend.
- We played battleship with our mecánica partner, practicing the preterite for: caminar, corer, vivir, hacer, dar, ver, buscar, investigar, almorzar.
- I introduced the homework: Writing sentences based on interrogatives.
- Tarea / Homework:
- Names / seating chart test tomorrow.
- 10 “interrogative sentences” based on Quién, Qué Actividad, Dónde, Cuándo, con quién(es).
