• A Ver si Recuerdas – pages 42 & 43 + extra vocabulary

La alberca = the swimming pool
El zócalo = the town square (Latin America)
El campo de    fútbol    =   The football field
                    _(name of the sport)-
La cancha de  básquetbol  = the basketball court
El baloncesto = the truly Spanish way of saying “basketball”

• Activity 1, page 42 and interviewed two other students – turned in.


• How to study tip – fan fold paper to write multiple repeats to memorize.

• Received updated Progress Reports (minus the last unit tests- we’re still waiting for some to finish their make ups!)


• Tarea:


• Make 3 sets of fan folds: 5-7 words that you need to learn from each of the three categories on the top of page 42.


• Fill-in the Spanish for the English words on vocabulary sheet for page 68


• Write definitions on the backs of the Vocabulary Clip Art Flashcards


• Have your parent(s) sign the updated progress report.
