Sp. II 02-17-06

  • Introduced & reviewed stem-changing verbs, using the textbook’s GramActiva video.

  • Reviewed the differing ways that verbs can change their stems: o-ue. U-ue. E-ie, e-i.

  • Introduced new vocab using p. 18-19 in the text, along with the accompanying CD track.

  • Introduced “Hay que…” “Se prohíbe…”

  • In groups, students made lists of 7 affirmative and 7 negative statements about classroom behavior in their ideal command.

  • Tarea:

  • Conjugate all of the stem changing verbs outlined on page 27 of the textbook (13 in all), plus “comenzar” (making a total of 14 verbs).  This will be accomplished on the verb grids handed out in class.
