2. Don Quixote (Quijote) – Act. 11, pg. 17 en el texto: We
did some background discussion about Don Quixote before doing this exercise
practicing the preterite.
3. El pretérito indefinido (packet)
(A) We reviewed the “apuntes” – study notes on the first
couple of pages, and then reviewed the homework corrections.
(B) Working with an “appointment partner” – students
continued working ahead in the packet.
(C) We went over exercise 4 together.
4. Review of the IB Scoring Guides for Written and Oral
work.
5. La abeja haragana – El teatro de lectura: I gave a
“dramatic” reading of the first half of the story – checking for understanding
along the way. We just got started on the second part when class ended.
Tarea:
1. Complete the Preterito Indefinido packet THROUGH Ex. 7
2. Text – pg. 17, Act. 12
3. Prep – as much as you can – for an IB Interactive Oral:
Prepped and presented during class tomorrow.
We’ll be focusing the situation on a preterite use of the past. Know the verbs from the lesson.
