1. Students turned in their typed movie critique with their rough drafts (the homework due yesterday).

2. El norte - discussion:  The Maya reading @ end of El norte packet.  I added in some more history and background information about Guatemala and the Maya.

3. Continued with the movie, finishing the rest of Parte 1a and then watching la Parte 2a.
