el español IV - el 05 de noviembre



I was out of class at an I.B. Training: Here's what we did:

      1. We started our NEW LESSON - 2A: Students read goals on page 44: Comunicación, Estructuras, Culture.  Got a new handout  = Green  Vocabulary sheets + Read page 44 aloud with a seat partner.

·         Students wrote out Activity 2-1, page 47 = CORRECTING  the errors if Falsas. Then went over this all together. 
              Act. 2-2, pg. 47 = Pairs came up with 3 sentences per item – as in the model: Es -----------; Se usa para ---------------------; Un comentario. 
·        Pairs share with another pair close by – this group of 4 picks the sentences they shared for each item.
·      
2.  Intro SER/ESTAR/HABER

·        Introduced uses = See pp. 49-52
·        Showed my Power Point Notes under the doc camera –  EACH STUDENT took notes over what s/he needs.  STRESSED the point about SER for EVENTS.
·        Activity 2-8: Students wrote out the VERB in the FORM needed – & then explained WHY each verb is USED.

TAREA:
1. Crucigrama 2A
2. Scatter Vocabulary Game Sheet - Write definition sentences for 10 of these vocabulary expressions in Spanish on the reverse.
