El español II - el 15 de octubre de 2012

1. El vocabulario:  We read and completed ACTIVITY 4, page 50; used our FLASH CARDS for partner drills; listened to and read along with a SONG - Qué haces después de las clases?; and got a HANDOUT of DEPORTS - drawings with the names of the sports in Spanish; and we CORRECTED THE HOMEWORK - WB 18 & 19.

2. COMPARISONS: I gave an overview of ALL 3 TYPES- Equal;Unequal; Superlative - GET NOTES from your Study Buddies; We read the BOX on page 53 and WATCHED the GRAM ACTIVA - doing the little "QUIZ" at the end; We got a NEW PACKET - COMPARISON OF ADJECTIVES - We took notes on the first 2 pages & did PRACTICE A & B = Equal Comparisions = Just as ___ as & Just as much/many ___ as

3. GEOGRAFIA - We used the Capital Raps Songs and our Maps Handout to practice the locations of the Spanish-speaking counties and their capitals.  Check out this You tube site with the maps and the song. There are several versions out there, but I lilke this one.  Also, check out the lizardmap link from last week for the map test games.

Tarea:
1. Study for tomorrow's MAP & Capital Cities test
2. Work book page 20 - Reading comprehension: which ending goes with each beginning of the sentence?
3. Finish up the 1B vocabulary flashcards - #s49-62 on the vocabulary list.
