I was at the U of O with students on a field trip. Here's what the students did with wonderful Srta. Foltz:
1. Students copied the
meanings of the house furnishing on 2-sided pictured flashcards, and then practiced pronouncing the words.
2. Students listened to the song, Mi casa, while Srta. Foltz stamped their homework. Students
have the lyrics in their Lotería packet, with some of the words to be filled in. The homework that was stamped was:
(A) Rough Draft of their Mi casa de sueños ( Etapas 1-3)
(B)
Lotería: La Casa y los Muebles.
.
3. Played “Lotería” - La casa y muebles.
4. Went over the answers to Ex. D & E in
the packet, The House.
5. Block 1: Casa - crucigrama;
Block 2: Presentation – Student Ben Webster/ his experience on the Amigos de las Américas program.
