Español II el 03 de marzo de 2011

1. Warm up - Practice with affirmative and negative words, vocabulary, and stem-changers

2. "Nano el negativo" y "Pablo el positivo": Practice with affirmative and negative words
We drew stick figures and categorized the words into either positive or negative

3. "Rompecabeza" - Puzzle that helped us practice vocabulary and stem-changers

4. Venn diagrams- We got together with partners and discussed our findings with Spanish-speaking schools
We filled out the section on the back of the worksheet about our three partners' research

Tarea:
1. Finish "Nano" and "Pablo" sentences: Write five sentences using positive words (tambien, siempre, aglo, alguien, etc.) and five sentences using negative words (nada, nunca, nadie, ningunos, etc.)

NOTE: The test will be on Tuesday instead of Monday
You will need to:
1. Know and correctly spell the vocabulary words
2. Understand the concepts of "Hay que" and "se prohibe" (school rules)
3. Be able to use affirmative and negative words in sentences
4. Accurately complete a Venn diagram (identical to what we've been working on) based on school culture in the states, and school culture in a Spanish-speaking country of your choice.
5. Conjugate stem-changing verbs
