1. Demonstrative Adjectives and Pronouns
a. I showed examples and reviewed what we touched on last Monday.
b. Blue 2-page handout: explanation & picture flashcards.
c. Worked on clarifying the difference between an adjective and a pronoun.
d. Mnemonic device poem - Students copied this on the back of their blue handout:
"This" and "These" both have "T"s; "That" and "Those" no "T" shows; Far away? Begins with "A"; I don't know ends with "O". This & These = Este/a & Estos/as; That & Those = Ese/a & Esos/as; That one over there & Those ones over there = Aquel/Aquella & Aquellos/as.
e. Text page 114 & Gram Activa DVD
f. Text Activity 19, page 114 = Working with a partner, students read this dialogue between a brother & sister, filling-in the correct form of "Aquel" - then writing them down. Last, we "performed" these for the class.

2. Vocabulary Flash Cards Review - Partner drill and then we went through about half of the vocabulary on page 124 using my big flashcards.

3. Listening Comprehension - WAVA - NEW White Packet: Activities 5 & 6.

4. El pretérito:
a. Corrections of Activity 13, page 110 - Homework for last Wednesday.
b. Preterite Flash Cards Sentences - using the cards we made in class last Wednesday, we continued with this 'put it all together' activity building short sentences in the past tense.

Tarea:
1. Crucigrama 2B - Blue handout practicing vocabulary on page 124.
2. Lotería -Ir & -Er Verbs in the Preterite: Bilingual answers - Write the English Past Tense equivalent for the Spanish Verbs you select. EXAMPLE: Aprendí/I learned
