¡DIA CULTURAL! -

We celebrated the Victory of Mexico's Troops over the French on May 5th, 1862 in Puebla with a classic dish from that city: Mole Poblano - with rice and other fun foods.

We watched a DVD of a concert of Ballet Folklórico with Mariachi and traditional songs and dances of Mexico.

I checked off homework whiles students watched and ate, and after the concert, students played various "Juegos de mesa".
