I. Vocabulary practice: New Packet - La comida
(A) Word search (Sopa de letras)
(B) Conversación - with a partner
(C) Juego - also with a partner

II. 3A WAVA Packet (new) - Listening Comprehension/Vocabulary Practice in context
(A) Activity 5 - El restaurante El Gaucho: How much of which food items did each client order for el almuerzo?
(B) Activity 6 - En el hotel: Completing the room service orders for el desayuno. Indicating the room number and what each client ordered.

III. Los Verbos!
(A) Reinforced the study notes within the packet - verb endings, mini dictionaries of verb meanings and making verbs negative.
(B) Reviewed the corrections on the homework:
Ex. 1 #s 1-20 = -AR verbs; Ex. 2 # 1-8 = -ER verbs; Ex. 3 # 1-8 -IR verbs.
(C) Continued on with more practice in the packet: Ex. 2 -Er verbs # 9-24
(D) Introduced the Lotería - Present tense of -er verbs.
1. I demonstrated HOW the game is set-up. EACH column is a different form of the infinitives listed at the top of the page (Infinitivos).
2. NUMBERED EACH infinitivo and then MATCHED that number to its verb forms below.
3. Indicated the MEANING of each row of conjugated verbs in a NEW 6th COLUMN in the right-hand margin.
4. I demonstrated HOW to FILL-IN each SQUARE with BOTH the SPANISH VERB FORM and its ENGLISH EQUIVALENT VERB FORM. See below under "Tarea"

TAREA
Prepare your handout, REGULAR PRESENT TENSE -ER VERBS Lotería game sheet.
(A) Select words from EACH COLUMN ABOVE for the COLUMN DIRECTLY BELOW.
(B) Write BOTH the SPANISH VERB FORM and its ENGLISH EQUIVALENT VERB FORM.
Examples:
Creo/I believe = 1st column
Lees/You read = 2nd column
Responde/She answers = 3rd column
Aprendemos/We learn = 4th column
Corren/They run = 5th column
