Listening Comprehension:
Actividad 9, página 164: Following directions to 3 different places in Viejo San Juan, while looking at the map in your book - Practicing our vocabulary and commands in context.
Speaking Practice:
Activity 10, page 165 = Using the same map as above, traded off asking for and giving directions.
Structures:
Informal Commands - These are the verb forms we are using to give directions.
(a)New Handout: Dorado - Mandatos Directos. Overview of how to form all types of commands. For our lesson, 3B, we ONLY NEED the INFORMAL/FAMILIAR Commands (Tú).
(b) White Two-sided Handout:
1. Meanings of the vocabulary verbs, and their affirmative and negative Tú command forms.
2. Sentences to translate incorporating affirmative and negative commands along with the lesson's vocabulary.
Cultural Perspectives:
1. Fondo Cultural - page 165: La plaza mayor
2. Fondo Cultural - page 172 - El permiso de manejar
Tarea:
1. Write TWO SETS of DIRECTIONS from THS to somewhere else in Tigard.
EACH SET need AT LEAST 5 DIFFERENT TU COMMANDS and TWO points of reference.
2. Study for our Lesson 3B TEST on FRIDAY.
