• Turned in our filled-in vocabulary lists & Review verbs flash cards.
• Practiced our new vocabulary, page 124, in context.
1. Reviewed the meanings and pronunciations
2. Watched the Video Historia – pp.104-105.
3. Read the video historia aloud with our “Peca” partners.
4. Read and answered the comprehension questions in

Act. 3 -¿Comprendiste? – page 105.

• Reviewed the PRETERITE
1. Watched the Gram Activa = DVD from the textbook = see page 110.
2. Distributed a new HANDOUT/PACKET = El Pretérito
3. Went over the 3 basic uses of the preterite = listed at the top of the handout.
4. Went over the meanings of common time expressions used with the preterite (see handout).
5. Reviewed the conjugations for regular –AR verbs in the preterite.
6. Distributed a VERB GRID for the preterite with a conjugation key and several common regular -ar, -er and –ir verbs.
7. We filled-in the meanings for the –ar verbs and conjugated the first one through all of the forms.
8. Together we completed all of the YO and Tú forms for the regular –ar verbs.
9. Partners asked and answers questions using the verbs in #8 above.
• Introduced the TAREA / HOMEWORK
1. Memorize the Preterite Time expressions. Be able to write the Spanish from the English meaning for class tomorrow.
2. Complete the remaining –ar verb conjugations on the PRETERITE Verb Grid.
3. Group 4 of Review Verb Flash Cards: Encontrar – Escuchar.
