Spanish IV
- Distribute the letter to the parents.
- Please write the following list on the overhead/board before class:
2. ¿En qué actividad participó la pareja durante las vacaciones?
3. ¿Cuándo la hizo
4. ¿Cuánto tiempo duró la actividad
5. ¿Con quién(es) fue?
6. ¿Dónde tomo lugar la actividad?
7. ¿Cómo resultó?
8. ¿Qué otros detalles aprendiste sobre cómo pasó las vacaciones la pareja?
- Have students fold a sheet of paper in fourths. In each section have the students list the numbers 1-8 referencing the list you’ve already written out. Please tell them that I appreciate their neat work as they will be turning these in.
- The students ask and answer questions about the vacation: Organize a rotation system AND a signal indicating when it is time to move before you instruct them to begin. A suggestion: Pair up two rows and have one row stay and the other partners in the adjoining row rotate forward (or backward) each time they heard the signal you give them.
- Have students write a compare/contrast piece about their vacations incorporating the information discovered in the oral. Tell them to be sure to include examples from the information from the guiding questions. I also want them to combine like information from the various people. Also, they need to remember to include their own information. This will also be collected, along with their oral 4-section paper, at the end of the class period.
II. Packet – Object Pronouns
1st Part: The Personal A; Direct Object Pronouns LO, LA, LOS, LAS
Work through the entire part of this packet.
- Read each study point aloud.
- Highlight/underline, etc. the key idea for each study point number.
- Include the practices that are embedded with the study points.
- Work through this part of the packet, completing Practice B – page 212
- Homework:
- The permission slip from Parent/Guardian
- Compare/contrast composition incorporating information learned during oral with your own vacation.
