1. Ser or Estar - see text book page 86:
  • Went over forms and uses
  • Watched the Gram Active
  •  NEW PACKET.  We worked through EXERCISE C (way beyond "Practice C"!).
  • Some uses of Tener & Hacer ALSO are used for "to be" in English - we practiced these, too!
2. Reflexive Verbs - see text book page 80 / Mi rutina diaria
  • New WAVA Packe: Actividad 4: Mi rutina por la mañana
  • Cuadrícula: Block 3 finished their verb grids/Block 4 will as homework
  • Added "Divertirse" on LAST ROW of "Lado 1" on our verb grids.
  • Repaso la "Tarea de reflexivos #1" = Last night's 2-page verb practice handout

Tarea:

(B) You write the verb that best finishes the sentence: you'll need to know the "special meanings" for verbs on page 32 as well as the other verbs from the chapter.  You'll also need to know their preterite and imperfect forms and be able to decide which works best for the context of each sentence.

 Packet, “¿Imperfecto, Indefinidto o Pretérito Perfecto? – Showed answers in the “Clave” and important concepts highlighted.
 

Cuentos de hadas: My collection of Fairy tales in Spanish
Partners  selected stories (one at a time) they want to read aloud with each other noticing the uses of the past tenses in the stories:  how the setting is established with the IMPERFECTO and main event actions are in the Pretérito/Indefinido.
I would like everyone to read at least 3 stories.
